How Downtown Vision is handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of May 4, 2021, our services include comprehensive eye examinations, routine eye care, contacts fittings, and the rest of our suite of services. We, as eye care providers, have always been deemed essential, but with limited access to disinfecting supplies and PPE we felt it was in our patient’s best interest and safety to temporarily cut back to only urgent and emergent cases when it was necessary.
Now that our PPE situation is better under control here in Northern Nevada, we feel it is now safer for us to open up our doors and get back to taking care of our patients. Keep in mind that it will still not be the same fast paced, heavy traffic office you are accustomed to as some restrictions and safety protocols are still in full effect.
We will still be abiding to basic CDC guidelines and adapting or setting new protocols where needed to ensure both the safety of the staff and patients. With that said, you will notice some differences and they are being made for all of us, patients and staff.
Thanks for your support during these trying times. If you are experiencing any symptoms such as a fever or cough, we ask that you do not enter our office until you have been symptom-free for 14 days.
If you have an eye emergency, please call our office at 775-322-4061.
If you have a non-emergency, you can reach us via email at info@dtvisionreno.com.
For the latest updates about COVID-19, please visit the CDC.
We thank you for your continued support and we ask that you follow the recommended safety procedures to help us stop the spread of COVID-19.
